What You Will Learn
In this hands-on welding course, you’ll gain essential skills and knowledge in:
● Welding Safety & PPE – Learn to prevent arc flash, fume hazards, and follow proper shop safety procedures
● SMAW Equipment Setup – Master machine configuration, electrode types (E6010, E7018), and electrode handling
● Plate Welding Techniques – Practice fillet and butt welds on flat, vertical, and overhead positions
● Pipe Welding Skills – Learn pipe joint prep, root pass, hot pass, and welding in 1G to 6G positions
● Quality Control & Inspection – Identify weld defects, perform visual inspections, and apply correction techniques
● Certification Preparation – Complete a written test, hands-on assessment, and instructor evaluation to earn your KHDA certificate
